The house is a loft featuring two distinct areas within a single open space: there is a queen-size bed on the mezzanine level and two sofa beds on the ground floor.

Yes, the kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, dishwasher, and other standard appliances, including a reverse osmosis water system.

What is the history of the house?
In the 19th century, it was a fisherman’s shelter; it was later rebuilt by architect Lanfranco Bombelli using the original ruins, which had belonged to the painter Eliseu Meifrèn i Roig between 1912 and 1940. Reconstruction began in 1999, based on historical photographs and the artist’s own works.

Why is it called “This Is Not Dalí’s House”?
The name is a nod to another surrealist painter, René Magritte (referencing his famous painting “Ceci n’est pas une pipe“). The house did not belong to Salvador Dalí, although due to its proximity to his House-Museum, some visitors still try to enter, thinking it is the museum.

No; the key is never handed over via a lockbox or secure box. Both check-in and check-out take place in person, directly with the homeowner, who personally welcomes and sees off the guests.
